Check the Status of an application
If you live in a county operating under the "Hybrid"
or "Modernized" system, and have submitted an application
you can check on the status of that application by going to www.in.gov/fssa/2999.htm
and clicking on your county of residence. You will need to
have a case number to check the status of your application.
If you live in a non-modernized county, please contact your
local DFR caseworker to inquire about the status of your
application.
Remember: The application must be complete and all required
documentation must be received before the DFR can begin processing
your application.
The Division of Family Resources provides various tools to
strengthen families through services that focus on prevention,
early intervention, self-sufficiency, family support and
preservation. It is also their goal to respect the
privacy of clients as they administer these services pursuant
to HIPAA and other applicable federal regulations. To that
end, it is their policy to not share or disclose information
about clients or applicants without a release of information.
For your convenience, the DFR
Authorization for Disclosure of Personal and Health Information
form is now available online at http://www.in.gov/fssa/dfr/2689.htm
