Public Hearings on HIP 2.0 Scheduled for May 28 and
May 29

The Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) is submitting a request to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to augment the existing Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP) waiver in order to expand the accessibility of the HIP program to eligible Indiana residents. The Indiana FSSA will hold public hearings on a five-year Medicaid 1115 demonstration waiver application for HIP 2.0 for calendar years 2015-2019. The FSSA will also present its request for a three-year extension of the existing HIP waiver for calendar years 2015-2017. At both public hearings, the FSSA will first briefly describe and take public comment on the HIP 2.0 waiver application. Immediately following the conclusion of the HIP 2.0 hearing, the FSSA will briefly describe and take public comment on the HIP renewal application. The public hearings are scheduled as follows:

  • Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at 9 a.m. at the Indiana Government Center South, Conference Center Room B, 402 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204-2744
  • Thursday, May 29, 2014, at 1 p.m., at the Indiana State House, Room 156-B, 200 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204-2786.
