Transportation Services
Medicaid can provide transportation to/from a medical service
that is covered by Medicaid. This can mean a taxi ride
to an appointment with your Doctor or an ambulance ride to the
hospital in an emergency.
The transportation you use must be the least expensive type of
transportation available that meets your medical needs. Medicaid
does not cover transportation related charges including parking
fees, tolls, member meals or lodging and escort meals or
lodging.
If you have further questions regarding transportation services
contact your health plan. You can find important phone numbers in
the contact us
section of this website.
